The Moveo uses a 10 pin RS232-A for SIA communication. 3 of these 10 pins are needed to create the RS232 connection to our Pro unit:
The RS232-A port is found on the top right-hand side of the communication board:
Panel Programming
- Launch the Integra software.
- Communication via the RS232 will automatically be enabled. To set the account number, select the Moveo option from the left-hand side tab:
- Select the ‘EAS’ tab then ensure ‘Enable SIA’ is set to ‘Yes’ and an ‘Account number’ has been added.
- Select the ‘EAS-SIA’ tab and you should then see SIA Presentation is enabled. The account number should have been updated automatically. If it is not, it is recommended you add it here as well.
- You can open any of the options below this to see the SIA codes being used for each area, although it is not recommended that you change these.
- The panel has now been set up and is ready for testing, which can be done via the Integra software, or at the panel end.
