Kerry joined CSL in 2017 following the acquisition of Emizon, where he had served as CTO since 2006. He retired due to health reasons at the end of 2024.
Kerry was truly one of the pioneers of alarm signalling. During his time as CTO of BT Redcare, he was the architect and technical lead behind the very first products developed over 40 years ago. He went on to deliver world‑class solutions throughout his time at Emizon and later at CSL.
Widely recognised as a technical genius, many of the systems Kerry designed are still in operation today – a lasting testament to the quality, robustness and foresight of his work.
But beyond his technical brilliance, Kerry will be remembered most fondly for the person he was: always friendly, endlessly positive, and a pleasure to be around.
