SIMON BANKS AWARDED FOR OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION TO THE SECURITY INDUSTRY

Simon, who is also Chairman of the BSIA and its wholly-owned subsidiary - Skills for Security, is a long-time champion for skills and training. He founded Apprentices for Fire and Security (A4FS) in 2011, which has placed thousands of apprentice engineers within the security sector and also represented the industry's manufacturers on the Government’s FESS Trailblazer framework.

PSI had this to say: 

"Simon has not only steered CSL to a commanding position in the market but is also passionate about bringing new talent to the industry and ensuring a healthy future for the sector working diligently with Skills for Security. His impact on the development of apprenticeships has been widespread and thus he is worthy of recognition this year."
