The UK's digital network business, Openreach, has announced 65 new exchanges to be included in the 9th tranche of the All IP project.
These exchanges, outlined in the table below, bring the total number up to nearly 600, impacting over 6 million premises across the UK within the next 12 months. Openreach has also recently adjusted some of the 'stop-sell' dates of previously announced exchanges. The second section of the table below outlines the exchanges that have been moved into tranche 9. Although the industry has until 2025 to complete the switch, we continue to stress the importance of performing the necessary upgrades now.
