Technical Notes

There are 3 SIA reporting modes which provide different ways of reporting fire panel events and alarm information. The default mode 0 is recommended.

DualCom Pro to Panel Wiring

RS232-T Card 0 Port 1 RX1
RS232-R Card 0 Port 1 TX1
RTN Card 0 Port 1 0V

Panel Setup

Alarms should be set up on the panel for RS232 Card 0 Port 1

The port mode should be set as Universal, and the port speed (baud) should be set to 19200.

Note: If Card 0 Port 1 is being used for something else than use Card0 Port 2 instead and wire accordingly.
