A huge thank you to our loyal customer base for voting for the DualCom Gemini Platform at the PSI Premier Awards. The award is made all the more special as Installers cast the vote and have chosen DualCom for the fifth consecutive year. This year Installers chose Gemini for its ability to provide more intelligence directly to the engineer saving valuable time and cost. Gemini's helpful features include Remote Servicing & Diagnostics (RSD) and access to Gemini Insight, a handy web portal that’s now available as an App. The award was presented to our Sales Director, Rob Evans, by former England Rugby Union International Brian Moore (pictured) at Stapleford Park in Melton Mowbray.

The DualCom Gemini Platform was introduced in 2007, which has since proven to be the most resilient and reliable managed network in the industry. Today Gemini handles over 1 billion calls each month and is the platform that provides the Critical Connectivity® for hundreds of thousands of protected premises throughout Europe. Gemini provides the intelligence that enables us to push the boundaries of innovation in high-end signalling and offer game-changing services that are the first of their kind in the industry.

The Critical Connectivity® is provided by a network of polling servers which connect securely to all major European networks to relay information from protected premises to the Alarm Receiving Centre. Gemini checks the entire signalling route from the premises through the network to the ARC every minute, unlike other systems that only check part of the signalling route for accidental or deliberate attack. The network is duplicated at every point and every point in the network is independently monitored for the highest levels of integrity and security.

CSL DualCom is the only signalling service provider with its own a purpose built Network Operations Centre (NOC) dedicated to supporting the DualCom Gemini Platform. The NOC houses our dedicated Network Team who monitor real-time network feeds and provide early notification of events to ARCs and installers. This has enabled us to provide customers with a clever web portal called Gemini Insight. Installers and ARCs can use this interface to search and examine their entire signalling base by grade, postcode, chip number or polling status. This helps to identify network or system issues at the earliest possible instance, offering truly preventative, time-saving maintenance. It is also available as a handy App which offers the same great benefits whilst engineers are on the move.
