INDEPENDENT TESTING AND EN50136 APPROVAL FOR DUALCOM

The DualCom Security range has gained approval to the prestigious EN50136 standards.

The DualCom Security range has gained approval to the prestigious EN50136 standards. The independent testing to gain EN50136 approval was expertly handled by Intertek, a leading global quality and safety solutions provider to the fire and security industry with over 130 years of product testing and assessment experience. The certification was also extended to the groundbreaking DigiAir®.

The presentation of the certificate took place at the IFSEC 2014 London ExCel debut on the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) stand. James Kelly, Chief Executive of the BSIA presented CSL DualCom’s Group Managing Director Simon Banks with the certificate and commented, “As the trade association for the private security industry in the UK, the BSIA is a strong advocate of European standards, which we view as a symbol of quality and professionalism in the security industry. With EU legislation soon to enforce European standards over country specific ones we commend CSL for taking steps to have the quality and credibility of their products independently verified.”

Intertek’s Business Development Director for Life Safety and Security, Daniel Griffin was also in attendance for the occasion and commented, “It is important that consumers are able to make educated choices about the products they use. Independent testing provides a benchmark standard that can be trusted and demonstrates a manufacturer’s commitment to product excellence.”
