ENHANCED SECURITY FOR CSL SERVICES

Multi-Factor Authentication will now be required to access CSL Live, the My Base App & CSL Remote Manager

As part of our commitment to ensuring the highest levels of security for all our solutions, we have implemented a new authentication process for our device management services.

Users of CSL Live, the My Base App and CSL Remote Manager will now be required to complete a Multi-Factor Authentication process when logging in. This process generates a code in time-based intervals that the user must enter to gain access. These access codes will be generated via email, SMS or an authenticator app. Users will likely be familiar with these types of processes from systems such as internet banking.

Here is how this process will impact our services:

  • CSL Live – the portal will prompt users to install an authenticator app or select SMS or email. The SMS option will only be available if we have a mobile number related to your user account on our systems.

  • My Base App – the app will need to be updated as part of this process. This can be done via Google Play or the App Store.

  • CSL Remote Manager – any older versions of this programme will need to be updated to the last version. This can be downloaded via the My Base section of CSL Live.

This process will be required once every 30 days or if a user logs out. It may also be required if CSL publish an update to any of the services.

For more information on this, including a list of approved authenticator apps and FAQs, please check out our MFA guide.
