Ed has more than 20 years’ commercial & management experience across multiple sectors in both FTSE 100 & early stage businesses. Most recently he was at BT where he ran SME Enterprises,
a trading unit comprised of several individual businesses, with revenues in excess of £120m pa. Prior to that he helped launch and run SME Ventures and was part of the team that successfully delivered BT Sport.
Before joining BT he was the Commercial Director for IOME, a VC backed telecoms start-up, and a Senior Strategy Consultant for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. He has an MBA from Cranfield University.
Kassir has over 24 years of Telecoms, Media and IT industry experience, with a heavy involvement in starting and scaling new business ventures. During his career so far he has worked across a number of
Commercial, Product Development, Technology and Innovation Roles.
Most recently he was the founder and Director of Hive (British Gas) Smart Homes, running the business unit for 4 years. Hive is now the UK’s largest consumer IoT Smart Home business.
Prior to this he was responsible for launching NowTV as the Director of Technology Innovation at BskyB and looked after the IT Network strategy for O2 Telefonica which included launching GiffGaff. Before joining O2 Telefonica, he spent 7 years running the core network, mobile network and devices team at 3UK.
Tom has over 20 years’ experience in a variety of senior finance roles in TMT and professional services. Most recently he was CFO at Cordium, an international regulatory compliance
business serving the financial services industry, which he supported through a private equity exit. Prior to that he spent 11 years in strategic communicates including 8 years at FTI Consulting. Tom is a chartered accountant.
Simon founded CSL in 1996 and continues to be heavily involved. He is Chairman for the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) a board member of the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) and BAFE.
Simon founded Apprentices for Fire and Security in 2011 which has placed thousands of apprentice engineers within the security sector and represents the security manufacturers for the Government’s Trailblazer framework.
Phil has over 30 years experience of the Security Industry having owned and established a number of security companies in various sectors. After gaining a business degree in Canada he
joined Automated Security Holdings ASH (parent company of Modern Alarms).
Phil joined CSL in 2004 and was the catalyst in transforming the company from a product based manufacturer to a platform and service provider.
