What is rSIM® Certification?
rSIM is a GSMA-compliant solution that enhances resilience by actively monitoring connectivity and switching to an alternative operator network when required. A device confirmed as “rSIM® Certified” has undergone rigorous joint testing by CSL, our partners and/or the device manufacturer to confirm full compatibility with rSIM. This process ensures that:
- rSIM is plug-and-play, providing connectivity and roaming straight out of the box.
- rSIM actively monitors your connection during operation.
- rSIM automatically switches to a backup profile and re-establishes the connection if connectivity issues are detected.
ViGi’s 4G security cameras, such as the InSight C540-4G, are now equipped with CSL’s patented rSIM® technology. This means a continuously reliable data connection, even in locations where regular networks fail or are unavailable. The rSIM automatically switches between different networks, without being dependent on a single provider. This ensures a stable connection at all times, which is essential for sectors where security, reliability, and speed are paramount.
