Now in their tenth year, the IoT Breakthrough Awards celebrate the world’s most innovative Internet of Things (IoT) companies, technologies, and alliances. After a rigorous evaluation process involving detailed scoring and analysis, IoT Breakthrough confirmed CSL and Vodafone Business as winners of the “IoT Alliance of the Year” award.
With thousands of nominations from around the world, the 2026 program was the largest and most competitive to date, spanning solutions from connected homes to industrial and enterprise IoT. This year’s winners include many of the world’s leading IoT brands.

IoT Alliance of the Year: Vodafone Business & CSL
Vodafone Business and CSL were recognized for delivering one of the UK’s most ambitious critical IoT connectivity projects — a secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure supporting retail sites nationwide.
The project required modernizing and future-proofing connectivity across a complex and diverse retail estate, ensuring:
