DualCom GradeShift G3 & G4 UDL were chosen by KBO to replace an alternative signalling provider as they provided some key benefits and features. UDL enables Remote Servicing & Diagnostics (RSD) on an installed alarm control panel reducing the need for unnecessary and costly engineer site visits. Extended formats such as Contact ID and SIA provide ARCs with more detailed information about the protected premises and alarm events. In addition the award winning WorldSIM adds increased reliability by automatically selecting the best network so that fewer line faults are sent to the Alarm Receiving Centre, meaning fewer false alarms for end-users. The connection to the panel also gains additional protection from the robust Gemini Platform. Gemini checks the entire signalling route every minute providing the highest levels of resilience and reliability required by professional signalling systems
CSL worked closely with KBO throughout the replacement programme to ensure a smooth rollout process. In order to make the programme simple and time-effective CSL supported KBO’s first order, provided a transfer schedule and training from CSL’s Field Engineers. In addition, KBO was supplied with logins to the handy portal, Gemini Insight, to manage their entire signalling estate as well as CSL’s Technical Support out of hour’s number for responsive customer service throughout. CSL’s Regional Sales Representative was also on hand to provide continuous support throughout.
