M2M Data Analyst

The Person:

The ideal candidate will come from a Financial background, experienced in analysing and manipulating large data sets. A business qualification would be a great advantage in this role. The person should be confident to manage multiple projects - time management skills are essential.

The Role:

Working in a small but growing team, this role will be the next stepping stone for the right candidate. CSL are looking for someone to assist with analysing and reporting large data sets, ready to present at Board level. Each day will provide a variety of tasks, with frequent and multiple projects to work on.

Duties & Responsibilities:

This role will encompass a range of responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
  • Set up and maintain automated data processes
  • Produce and track key performance indicators
  • Develop and support reporting processes
  • Monitor and audit data quality
  • Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content
  • Gather, understand and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets relating to the employer's business
  • Prepare reports for internal and external audiences
  • Create data dashboards, graphs and visualisations
  • Provide detailed sector and competitor benchmarking
  • Analyse large datasets and present them successfully to management
  • Provide and present reporting, statistics and metrics to key stakeholders

Key Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • Business Qualification – Desirable
  • Maths/Financial Qualification – Desirable
  • Advanced Excel – Essential
  • Analytical mind and approach to work
  • Excellent communications skills
