Who Are CSL Looking For?
We are seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Data Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen interest in transforming raw data into meaningful insights. The Data Administrator will play a crucial role in collecting, processing, and analysing large data sets to help drive informed business decisions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
This role will encompass a range of responsibilities including but not limited to:
Data Collection and Integration:
- Gathering, compiling, and validating data from various sources.
- Integrating data from different systems and platforms to create unified datasets for analysis.
Data Cleaning and Preprocessing:
- Cleaning and preprocess raw data to identify and handle missing or inconsistent information.
- Standardising datasets to maintain consistency and accuracy
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers.
- Performing statistical analysis to derive actionable insights.
- Presenting findings through meaningful visualisations and reports.
Modelling and Forecasting
- Build and maintain predictive models to support business decision-making.
- Developing and implementing forecasting models to anticipate future trends.
Collaboration:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide analytical support.
- Communicating findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
Continuous Learning:
- Staying up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis.
- Actively participating in training and development opportunities.
Key Skills & Qualifications Sought:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of statistical concepts and methodologies.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Advanced Excel – Essential
- Analytical mind and approach to work
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to carry out data quality control, validation, and unification.
- Ability to produce clear graphical representations and data visualisations.
Desirable Skills
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Maths/Financial Qualification – Desirable
- Business Qualification – Desirable
- Experience with Salesforce / Analytics
- Working knowledge of MS Access
- Experience with PRTG
- Experience with Greylogs
